Had a great time during my 3-night stay here. the spot was nice and quiet and super close to theaters, restaurants, and museums, like that big Princess theater and even Chinatown. Checked out Shark Fin Inn a couple of times in the vicinity. 🍜

Possibly the best and fairly nice stay of 3 nights plus. Amiable staff with a smile. Favourable and stunning location: a train station close to the hotel. Only 15 minutes walking to the city centre.

We had a comfortable stay of 3 nights plus.
The location was excellent, at a moderate distance from Block Arcade. The staff were pleasant, and we could use wake up service and ironing free of charge;)))

The comforts of the studio suite were fabulous, with amenities like a laptop-compatible safe, central heating, and an iron. the location is great and incredible, with easy access to Princess Theatre, malls, live theatres, MCG. - A cool bonus was having Country Bred on Lonsdale nearby, offering tea and coffee.

Very good location for city shows and sites. Quiet, comfortable and convenient suite. Liked the kitchenette.
Breakfast was included, but not my choice of food. Juice was OK but I used my own microwaved oats and fresh fruit and plunger coffee.

Proximity to public transport Continental breakfast included Very clean rooms and bathroom Quiet even though we were in the heart of the city Provision of shampoo/conditioner was a plus especially with the restrictions on carrying fluids on-board aircraft. The tariff was very reasonable
The air-conditioner would be better if it was a smaller unit and wall mounted to get it out of the way. Three adults in one small room was a bit crowded. The same breakfast offerings every day was boring - maybe offering some variety such as yoghurt or fruit could be considered.

The majority of our stay was great, the room was nice and the location was great.
When we checked in we needed to pay for parking so the receptionist gave us bay 14, but neglected to tell us that there would be a yellow pole blocking the park. So when my friend went to park her car she obviously couldnt get in and drove back out of the carpark, resulting in her having to drive all the way back around about 5 blocks to get back to the top of the one way street. We were very annoyed that she didnt tell us in the first place that we would need to put down the pole ourselves in order to access the parking spot.

Everything was great for budget hotel, will probably stay again on next trip to Melbourne.
There was nothing really nothing to complain about, the only small thing was missing was a small lounge or comfortable seating for watching TV.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
